Lucali
575 Henry St., Brooklyn, NYYes, it can be annoying to deal with an unpredictable situation, but for a pizza this good, we’re willing to deal with it. Lucali is incredible.

Roberta’s
261 Moore St., Brooklyn, NYIt’s about time we got to Roberta’s. It is, after all, a ridiculously cool restaurant run by former musicians with a radio station in the back. But for about two years, I thought this was a soul food destination in a part of Brooklyn that I also thought was where the airport was. I should [...]

Joe’s Pizza
7 Carmine St., West Village, NYMove over people, the champ is here. Joe’s is the best slice in Manhattan. It’s been like that forever and will remain that way for eternity. If you can make a case for any other slice on the island of Manhattan, please let us know.

Rubirosa
235 Mulberry St., Nolita, NYLately we’ve been hearing a whole lot of buzz about how Nolita is officially the new “it” neighborhood in New York for restaurants. Lombardi’s
32 Spring St., Nolita, NYThe self-proclaimed “first pizzeria in America,” Lombardi’s has long been at the top of the list for tourists looking for a taste of real New York City pizza. Rightfully so, as this Neapolitan style coal oven pizza is top-rate. Unfortunately, to get a taste you’ll have to wait in line behind the gaggles of people being dropped off by the double-decker bus load.
