The Mermaid Inn
96 Second Ave., East Village, NYA staple in the Infatuation playbook since back in 2003 when we were standing in line outside of terrible Manhattan night clubs and listening to nothing but Brand New and 50 Cent. The fish here is always fresh and fantastic, and the lobster roll is very solid.

Grand Central Oyster Bar
89 E. 42nd St., Midtown East, NYAll of this recent oyster bar talk surrounding Jeffrey’s Grocery, The John Dory and Goat Town got us thinking (shocking, I know). Do we not have a Grand Central Oyster Bar review? Time to fix that and drop a little respect on the elders. The truth is, I hadn’t actually been to Grand Central Oyster [...]

Lure Fishbar
142 Mercer St., SoHo, NYLure Fish Bar needs to change it’s name. Maybe Lure Raw Bar. Or Lure Party Boat. Either would be more appropriate, and here’s why. Mostly out of convenience, but also because my little cousin Jane, who you met in the Cookies Across The City video, loves inhaling their lobster. We went again this year, only to find that a new Accademia Di [...]

BLT Fish Shack
21 West 17th Street, Chelsea, NYWe’ve got a bone to pick with the BLT franchise and their fish establishments. We didn’t totally rip BLT Fish in our initial review, but it’s definitely an extremely underwhelming and overpriced restaurant. We had remembered liking their less expensive, laid back Fish Shack more, but a recent trip has changed our minds. It’s a [...]

White Slab Palace
77 Delancey St., Lower East Side, NYIf White Slab stuck purely to booze, the Infatuation would have no beef here. Unfortunately, they also serve food.

Sagaponack
4 West 22nd St., Flatiron, NYAfter a recommendation from an Immaculate Board Member (since put on probation, sorry Fred), we headed to Sagaponak, a new-ish restaurant that’s flown under the radar and free of much online buzz or chatter. With an empty stomach and open mind, we went in hoping to find a diamond in the rough. Unfortunately, Sagaponak turned [...]
