A few years ago, if you would have asked us who Andy Cohen was, we would have had no clue. Cut to 2011…the DVR in the Steinthal household can’t record the latest episode of Californication, because “someone” needed to get The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Miami and Atlanta, along with the Housewives Reunion, Watch What Happens Live, The Millionaire Matchmaker, and every single other show on the network.
Like it or not, Andy Cohen, EVP of Original Programming and Development at Bravo, has hijacked our televisions. Cohen has almost single-handedly changed the cable TV landscape, becoming a household name and celebrity in his own right along the way. Don’t get us wrong – he’s the man. He gave us Top Chef, the single greatest reality show in the history of television (other than Temptation Island – that was the sh*t). For that we will be forever grateful.
Make sure to check out Andy’s Bravo blog and follow him on Twitter for the latest scoop.
