Justin Townes Earle

You know what you need? Some real American music in your life to balance out all that Far East Movement you’ve been listening to. Allow us to introduce you to Justin Townes Earle, son of alt-country legend Steve Earle, and extremely talented troubadour himself. Just like we aspire to help you find great restaurants, we also hope from time to time to lead you to music that’s good for your soul. Justin Townes Earle is just that. Amazon named his album Harlem River Blues one of the best country albums of last year, and Justin’s recent performance on David Letterman is one of the best we’ve seen on any late night show in recent memory.

Though his music and his pedigree are distinctly southern, Justin has settled in the East Village and has some opinions on where to eat around his ‘hood. Check out his “Perfect For” picks below.
