Nathan Followill of Kings of Leon

You know what’s awesome? When someone that we’re huge fans of turns out to be a fan of ours. It also sounds ridiculous to even say that, considering that we’re still surprised anyone actually reads the ridiculous things we write on the internet.

Needless to say, we were fired up to learn that Nathan Followill, drummer for and founder of Kings Of Leon, is into Immaculate Infatuation. Things got even better when the guy sent in his Friday Fives, and not only chose four of our most beloved go-to restaurants, but also wrote sh*t about them that we would totally say. Nice one, sir. We enjoyed reading that. Please do not start your own website about restaurants.

Check out Nathan’s “Perfect For” picks below, and follow him on Twitter for the all latest on where he is, what he’s eating, and the Oklahoma Sooners.

Nathan’s “Perfect For” Picks

Ridiculous Chicken

Barbuto (775 Washington St.) – “The best chicken I’ve ever had in my life and that’s saying something considering I belch feathers. Jonathan Waxman is a f*cking madman with a pan.”

Late Night Eats

Ear Inn (326 Spring St.) – “My favorite midnight burger in town and a perfect start or end to any night. The beer flows like wine, and no cell phones are allowed. Take that technology.”

Late Night Eats

Blue Ribbon Brasserie (97 Sullivan St.) – “Fried chicken, 4am. Need I say more?”

Full On Pork Indulgence

Ippudo (65 4th Ave.) – “I’m a huge fan of any ramen noodle based dish and this place is the best in the biz. You have to order the Akamaru Modern and the pork buns are worth committing a felony for.”

First/Early in the Game Dates

Mas (farmhouse) (39 Downing St.) – “Fresh is the word at Mas. Any vegetable that is in season will be on your plate and you can create your own menu every night. Great place for a first date. You will definitely get laid if you aren’t in a food coma.”

Bonus: Nashville

City House (1222 4th Ave N/Nashville) – “Pizza worth the drive, that is if you don’t mind a 885.7 mile drive to Nashville. It would make any New Yorker proud. Margherita with an egg on top is a must.”

Nathan’s Twitter People

@cheftimlove – A phenomenal cook, horrible golfer.

@dannydevito – A funny little man who loves to party. #trollfoot

@patrickcarney – A shrimp enthusiast and a poet. #4eyes2hearts

@chrisfowler – A true intellectual, if sports counts.

@jessiebaylin – My beautiful wife. I’m not stupid, she’s the cook in the family.
