Gramercy Tavern
42 E. 20th St, Flatiron, NYThe experience of a once-in-a-lifetime show and an epic meal can be equally enjoyable. Both can be an incredible party; one in Jordan’s and a T-Shirt, the other tucked in with black shoes on. Although they induce different emotions, both can be incredibly satisfying. In the same week, I hit one of Jay-Z’s Yankee Stadium [...]

Shake Shack
Madison Square Park, Flatiron, NYI once saw a man at Shake Shack, dressed in a suit and setting a formal table. On the small metal table he placed a white tablecloth, fine silverware, a candle, and some flowers. For a moment, I was overcome with joy at the beautiful event that was about to unfold before me…this man was about to propose to a burger.

Ciano
45 E. 22nd Street, Flatiron, NYPark Ave in the 20′s – home to many an upscale eatery, tailor made for the older set and prime real estate for Dinner With The Parents or Special Occasion dining. ABC Kitchen
35 East 18th Street, Flatiron, NYJean-Georges kills it. We know this. The dude is one of the most inventive and creative chefs that’s ever lived. But that wasn’t exactly what Ken Friedman and April Bloomfield had in mind. These two aren’t just after success; the name of [...]

Les Halles
411 Park Avenue South, Flatiron, NYIf what you know of Anthony Bourdain is entirely based on No Reservations, you might expect that a restaurant under his watch would be all about ethnic food, random animal parts, and booze (which would actually be amazing). But Les Halles is a straightforward French bistro, and it’s all about the steaks and the fries.

Boqueria
53 W 19th St., Flatiron, NYHit or miss Spanish food that seems to be very popular with large groups of girls. Not that we’re mad at that…

Aldea
31 W. 17th St., Chelsea, NYAfter being hyped on this place by friends and food media for the last year, I was pretty confident Aldea was going to be a John Starks over the entire Bulls team kind of slam dunk. Not the case. While some of their highly touted dishes – namely the sea urchin toast and duck paella [...]

Eataly: La Pizza & Pasta
200 5th Ave., Flatiron, NYWe’re finally getting around to an Infatuation assessment of Eataly, and we’re going to approach this by posting about each individual restaurant, rather than rating Eataly on the whole. Why? Because if we rated it as a single entity, we would be telling you to stay away from this place at all f*cking costs. But [...]
