L’Artusi
228 W 10th St., West Village, NYL’Artusi can officially go on our list of favorite restaurants in this town. A few things stand out as qualifications for such an honor – outstanding and consistent food, great service, good music, and some ancillary entertainment that comes in the form of great people watching.

Kin Shop
469 6th Ave., West Village, NYFor some reason, I have always associated Thai food in New York City with faceless BYOB establishments that cater mostly to neighborhood takeout and post-grad dinners out on the cheap. That’s probably my fault, for having yet to make it out to some of the legendary places like Sripraphai, and also for living in Murray [...]

So don’t go thinking it’s an invitation for you to bust out that ridiculous [...]

Joe’s Pizza
7 Carmine St., West Village, NYMove over people, the champ is here. Joe’s is the best slice in Manhattan. It’s been like that forever and will remain that way for eternity. If you can make a case for any other slice on the island of Manhattan, please let us know.

Barbuto
775 Washington St., West Village, NYA trendy spot, but for a more sedate group…not the hair gel and high heels crowd that you find a few blocks north in the meatpacking district. Simple food, top quality ingredients, a good wine and beer list – all the makings of an Immaculate Infatuation mainstay.

Corner Bistro
331 W 4th St., West Village, NYThere’s something about pounding cheap beers and burgers here that makes you feel like anything is possible. When we finally decided it was go time for Immaculate Infatuation, we were sitting in Corner Bistro. A great burger, and a classic establishment.
