Brushstroke
30 Hudson St., Tribeca, NY 10013We’ll admit it. Our preconceived notion of what Brushstroke was all about happened to be dead wrong. We knew it was a David Bouley restaurant, and therefore had visions of older couples half asleep at the table, eating sushi without saying a word to each other. In our heads this was going to be a [...]

Momofuku Ssäm Bar
207 2nd Ave., East Village, NY 10003Believe the hype. This is an all time Infatuation favorite. Be prepared to eat an unhealthy amount of pork and be very, very happy about it.

Char No. 4
196 Smith Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201Char No. 4 is essentially our New York City dream house – a warm, inviting space with a wall of bourbon and a smoker. This is Southern influenced food in New York City, and it’s damn good.

Georgia’s Eastside BBQ
192 Orchard St., Lower East Side, NY 10002A couple of years ago, when BBQ was all the rage in NYC, a tiny goldmine unceremoniously opened its doors on the Lower East Side. If you haven’t heard about Georgia’s already, it’s time to take notice.

Salinas
136 9th Ave., Chelsea, NY 10011Chelsea is a challenging neighborhood when it comes to eating. We’re usually only here before an event at Madison Square Garden or because a large group of females we know felt like eating tapas – and this is where large groups of females go to eat tapas. Why on earth are there so many Spanish [...]

Traif
229 S. 4th St., Brooklyn, NY 11211Traif is awesome. It’s exactly the kind of restaurant we enjoy hanging out at, and would happily set up shop here permanently if we weren’t constantly running around trying new places. Infatuation Nation was in our ear about this one, and, as usual, the good people who email and tweet at us came through with [...]

Hanjan
36 W. 26th St., Flatiron, NY 10010We’ve got a deep, undying love for the Midtown Korean restaurant Danji, for a few reasons. First of all, the food is great, and of all the glorious ethnic cuisines available to us in NYC, Modern Korean may be our favorite. Second, our office is in Midtown, and Danji is one of the few places [...]

Prime Meats
465 Court St., Brooklyn, NY 11231An Infatuation go-to from the proprietors of the Frankies restaurants (457 & 17). The menu is heavy and meat-centric, but most everything is incredible, especially the steaks and anything that sounds German, which is pretty much everything. Also, make sure come for brunch.

Frankies (457) Spuntino
457 Court St., Brooklyn, NY 11231Not that Frankies needs another glowing review, but this really is a fantastic restaurant if you can manage to get a table. It’s a tiny, cozy joint with simple Italian cooking, and the food is pretty damn great.
