BLT Prime
111 E 22nd St., Gramercy, NYThis is not your grandfather’s steakhouse. The crowd is buzzing with return customers, most of them young, lower Manhattan types wearing jeans and button downs who prefer BLT Prime’s modern take on the steakhouse to the more traditional spots uptown.

The Grocery
288 Smith St., Brooklyn, NYEven in an age of conceptual gimmicks and celebrity chefs, there’s still room for the little guys who give good kitchen. Most have been driven out of town. Not The Grocery. Carroll Gardens is a hotbed for culinary buzz and new restaurants these days. It’s filled with a plethora of Infatuation approved destinations like Prime [...]

Pure Food And Wine
54 Irving Place, Gramercy, NYYou obviously know by now that we’re not vegetarians. At times, this site feels like little more than a lengthy discussion about skirt steak and pork parts. Why then, are we giving so much love to a restaurant serving only raw food? Because while we may not be vegetarians, we are devoted hedonists, and Pure Food and Wine is all about pleasure.

Blue Hill New York
75 Washington Pl., Greenwich Village, NYWe held off on the Blue Hill New York review until we made our way up to the Stone Barns, and we’re glad we did. It’s a very good restaurant – one of the best in Manhattan. But to go to Blue Hill New York and say you’ve had the full Blue Hill experience would [...]

Dovetail
103 W 77th St., Upper West Side, NYIt’s rare that we actually venture up to the Upper West Side to eat out. Those treks north are usually reserved for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, chocolate chip cookies (we love Levain Bakery and Jacques Torres), and takeout essentials from Artie’s Delicatessen or Fairway. Thanks to Dovetail, there’s now another reason to make the trip.

Salinas
136 9th Ave., Chelsea, NYChelsea is a challenging neighborhood when it comes to eating. We’re usually only here before an event at Madison Square Garden or because a large group of females we know felt like eating tapas – and this is where large groups of females go to eat tapas. Why on earth are there so many Spanish [...]

Brushstroke
30 Hudson St., Tribeca, NYWe’ll admit it. Our preconceived notion of what Brushstroke was all about happened to be dead wrong. We knew it was a David Bouley restaurant, and therefore had visions of older couples half asleep at the table, eating sushi without saying a word to each other. In our heads this was going to be a [...]

Osteria Morini
218 Lafayette St., SoHo, NYIf you read this website regularly, you are already aware that we’re Michael White junkies. Homeboy makes our favorite pasta on the isle of Manhattan. We’d rather eat at one of White’s fine establishments – Marea, Convivio, Alto and now Osteria Morini – than at a Batali joint any day of the week. So you [...]

Locanda Verde
377 Greenwich St., Tribeca, NYAn Infatuation favorite, Locanda Verde is a very good restaurant, and it is so because the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Five Points
31 Great Jones St., NoHo, NYOne of the most reliable and universally likeable restaurants we’ve been to, coming through in the clutch time after time.
