Buvette
42 Grove St., West Village, NYWhen it comes to where you should have dinner, this website has you covered like nobody else. Two years into the game and we have reviewed over 350 restaurants, all of which are categorized to help you look like a “where should we eat tonight?” expert and all around more interesting person (you’re welcome). But [...]

Death & Co
433 E. 6th Street, East Village, NYYou know how it feels like some establishments were built precisely for you? That’s how we feel about Death & Co. Any place that makes room on their menu to quote Hunter S. Thompson – “I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence or insanity, but they’ve always worked for me.” – is on our wavelength. [...]

Traif
229 S. 4th St., Brooklyn, NYTraif is awesome. It’s exactly the kind of restaurant we enjoy hanging out at, and would happily set up shop here permanently if we weren’t constantly running around trying new places. Infatuation Nation was in our ear about this one, and, as usual, the good people who email and tweet at us came through with [...]

Tanoreen
7523 3rd Ave., Bay Ridge, NYDamn. People really love Tanoreen. And I mean loooove it. You know how I can tell? I actually know people that have been there, and it’s in Bay Ridge. Not too long ago, Kim Kardashian could have been handing out free lottery tickets and Chipwiches from a truck in Bay Ridge and I still probably [...]

Danji
346 W. 52 St., Hell's Kitchen, NYHell’s Kitchen is hot right now. It’s no longer home only to endless Thai joints and 9th Avenue establishments that glow neon colors in the dark. There’s a very legitimate restaurant scene developing here. As we’ve ventured further into Authentic Ethnic Eats lately, it’s become clear that we’re real down with Korean food. I know, [...]

Socarrat Paella Bar
259 W 19th St., Chelsea, NYNo bigger than a subway car, Socarrat packs the majority of their patrons on bar stools around a communal table. The idea here is that they do paella the way it’s done in Spain, as one big family. In such a small space, keeping the drool inside your mouth while you wait for your food is no easy task.

Terroir
413 E. 12th St, New York, NYHaving already professed our love for Terrior Tribeca, it should come as no suprise that we back the original in the East Village just as hard. We generally ignore wine bars. For the most part, wine bars are like sports bars; they’re all the same. Most lack two very important qualities – personality and good [...]

Sorella
95 Allen St., Lower East Side, NYA sleek, modern wine bar with excellent food and great taste in music. The downside? It get’s crowded, the layout is strange and it’s pricey. Nonetheless, Sorella is worth a visit.

Il Posto Accanto
190 E. 2nd St., East Village, NYIl Posto Accanto is home to some of the best meatballs and pastas in town, along with a great wine list and open air dining. We were honestly sort of torn about writing this place up, but you’re a loyal reader and deserve to have it in your repertoire. Just promise you won’t tell New Jersey.

Yakitori Totto
251 W. 55th St. 2nd Floor, Midtown, NYFirst things first – if you are walking into a restaurant on the ground floor, you are NOT walking into Yakitori Totto. Yakitori Totto is on the second floor. We nearly made that mistake, but the guy in the street level Japanese restaurant looked so surprised to see customers, we figured something was up. Head [...]
